Gloria Ann Schultz, 56, passed away on February 14, 2019 at Rose Haven Retreat in Atlanta, TX after battling lung cancer since January of 2018. Memorial Service will be held on February 17, 2019 at 2:00p at Queen City First Baptist Church, 206 Marietta Street, Queen City, TX 75572. With a reception held at the church following the service.

Gloria very much wanted this to be a celebration of her life and asked that people please not wear black, but colorful apparel. Gloria was born on September 1, 1962 in Shreveport, Louisiana to Edgar Aulds and Pauline Manes. She graduated from Rayville High School in 1980.

Gloria was preceded in death by her father Leyman Edgar Aulds Jr. and mother Pauline Mrytis Manes. She is survived by her children, Samantha Christine Bobb (Chris) of Gahanna, OH, Sarah Victoria Schultz of Kenosha, WI, and Heather Lavonne Tyson (Sam) of Bloomberg, TX; four siblings, Donald Aulds (Sherry) of Kaufman, TX, Sandra Ybarra of Dallas, TX, Bruce Aulds of Dallas, TX, and Brandie Law (Dewayne) of Kaufman, TX; three nieces, Ashley Hern (George), Mandy Carrizales, and Brittany Thompson (Tanner); two nephews, Brian Carrizales, and James Avants; three great-nieces, Maddie is an honorable mention as Gloria’s beloved fill in granddaughter; four great-nephews and a number of other relatives. Gloria is remembered for her boundless resilience, courage, joy, and faith in Jesus Christ.

The battle was terribly difficult physically and mentally, and we are thankful she is now healed and at peace in the arms of Jesus. Thanks so much to all the loving nurses, doctors and care givers of Heritage Hospice, Rose Haven Retreat and Christus St. Michael’s Hospital, you all were such a blessing during this difficult season. The family request in lieu of flowers that memorial contributions be made to the children for the benefit of Gloria to help with expenses.
