Gloria Deane Emerson, 77, of Owensboro, died on Sunday, January 27, 2019 at her home. She was born January 27, 1942 in Daviess County, KY to the late Robert Earle and Christine Laverne Underhill Price. She retired from Owensboro Medical Health System as a ward clerk and was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church.

Gloria enjoyed entertaining with family and friends, going antiquing, horses, being outdoors and traveling. In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Gerald Emerson Sr.; and brothers, Paul Price, Bruce Price and Daniel Price. Survivors include her sons, James Tanner (Elizabeth) and Mike Tanner (Jill); grandchildren, Taylor and Jacob Tanner; two step-grandchildren; one great-grandchild; siblings, Robert Price, Sherida Barton, Martha Hall, Corey Price and Michele Jobe.

Graveside services at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, January 30, 2019 at Rosehill Cemetery Chapel with Bro. Scott Ford officiating. There will be no visitation.

James H. Davis Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of arrangements. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Hospice of Western Kentucky, 3419 Wathens Crossing, Owensboro, KY 42301.
