Jacqueline Faye Sparks Bennett, 78, of Owensboro was called home by her Heavenly Father on Friday, January 25, 2019 at home while surrounded by her loving family and her little buddy, Roscoe. Jacqueline was gifted by God on December 5, 1940 in Daviess County to her parents, John Allen Sparks and Martha Abilene Woodard Cox Sparks. She was a sister to seven brothers, Edward, Gene, Joe, Herald, Charlie, William Lee, Sylvester and two sisters, Joyce and Carrie M. Grant who are now all gathered with her in God’s House.

In addition to her parents and siblings, Jacqueline was preceded in death by her husband of 34 years, Ray Douglas Bennett; their son of 55 years, Thompson Dean Bennett; and son-in-law of 23 years, Larry R. Turner, Sr. Survivors include her children, Carrie Bennett, Lottie (Jim) Hamilton, Sean (Sandra) Bennett, Jacqueline (Paul) Hamilton-Cornelius, and Timothy (Angel) Bennett-Curtis; fifteen grandchildren; and fifteen great-grandchildren who all absolutely worshipped their Grandmother; and several nieces and nephews. Services will be at 1:00pm on Tuesday, January 29, 2019 at James H Davis Funeral Home & Crematory. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery.

Brother Paul Winkler of By His Side Fellowship will officiate. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 9:00am until 1:00pm at the funeral home. Jacqueline and her family have a very special fondness for their church family at By His Side Fellowship, 1118 West 4th Street, Owensboro, KY 42301 and request that all expressions of sympathy be donated to the Church so that they can continue to care for those in need.

Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
