Grace M. Althouse, 94, formerly of Wyomissing, , passed away Wednesday, April 18, 2018 in Berks Heim where she was a resident since February 1, 2017. She was the wife of the late Lynn L. Althouse who passed away October 30, 2011. Born in Reading, Mrs. Althouse was the daughter of the late H. Clifford Weidner, Sr. and Margaret T. (Risk) Weidner.

She was a former member of Calvary United Church of Christ in Reading and was a meter department clerk for Met ED in Reading for 5 years retiring in 1973. Mrs. Althouse is survived by her children Richard L. Althouse, husband of Linda M. Althouse of Sinking Spring; Timothy W. Althouse, husband of Karen Althouse of Clarksville, Maryland and Carol L. Pesek, wife of James Pesek of Rapid City, South Dakota. She was preceded in death by her son Jeffrey L. Althouse, husband of Debra Althouse of Pottsville, who passed away in December 2011.

Mrs. Althouse is also survived by her 6 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren. Also surviving are her brothers H. Clifford Weidner, Jr. of Bel Air, Maryland; James R. Weidner of Mohnton; Dr. Peter R. Weidner of Edinboro, PA and John D. Weidner of Reading and was preceded in death by her brother Robert Weidner. Celebration of Life Tribute Service will be held in Bean Funeral Homes & Crematory, 3825 Penn Ave.

Sinking Spring, Sunday, April 22, 2018 at 11:00 am. Amy S. Landis, Certified Celebrant will officiate. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
