Doctor and Mary Doctor in New York City. He departed this life and went to be with the Lord on December 16, 2018 at Lincoln Medical Hospital Center in the Bronx, New York. Harvey was the fourth youngest of six children.

He accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Saviour at an early age in life and was baptized at Greater File Chapel Baptist Church in Manhattan. Harvey graduated from William Howard Taft High School in the Bronx. Harvey was very passionate about his family.

He loved cutting hair. He was the family barber. Anyone who came into contact with Harvey knew he would do anything he could to help them in any way.

He was always willing to do for his family and friends. Harvey was a valued and lovable employee and co-worker at Wazecrest Management where he worked for the past seven years. Harvey loved his two pieces of chicken, sweet potato pie and pizza.

We gave him the name “Ninja Turtle”, and he would always share with you. He loved watching old western movies, 48 hours and would tell you every detail that happened. He also loved his wrestling.

Harvey is preceded in death by his father, Joe Doctor. He leaves to cherish his memories: his mother, Mary Doctor of Eutawville, SC; one uncle, Harry Middleton (Lavern) of Plainfield, NJ; two aunts, Alqueen King of Virginia Beach and Carrie Robert of Bronx, NY; three brothers, Jeffrey Doctor of Fort Collins, CO, Jerome Doctor of New York, NY and Bonnie Doctor of Bronx, NY; two sisters, Lucinda Doctor-Wilson (Billy) of Bronx, NY and Esther William (James) of Newark, DE; six children, Shakeen Hutchinson, Shawnice Jones, Heavenly Walker, Donzell Walker, Special Walker, and Dashawn Doctor; nine grandchildren, Milan, Taylor, Tristian, Alaysia, Juwells, Imaya, Zyaire, SaQuon and D’Mario; three nephews, Michael Williams, Shawn Doctor, and Jamarr Williams; two nieces, Jacqueline Elmore and Shykima Doctor; and a host of cousins and friends.
