Heather’s Obituary Heather Michelle Shifflett 26, of Elkton, passed January 26, 2019 in Harrisonburg. Heather was born February 24, 1992 in Harrisonburg, and was the daughter of Ronal M. Shifflett Jr. and Penny Carrier Shifflett. She was a 2010 graduate of Spotswood High School and was a huge Pittsburgh Steelers Fan.

She had previously worked at Burger King in Elkton for a number of years, and most recently at Gabes in Harrisonburg. Besides her parents she is survived by a brother, Brandon Shifflett; a sister, Brittany Sukhov & husband, Eugene; paternal grandparents, Ronal Shifflett Sr. and Mary E. Shifflett , maternal grandparents, Charles Carrier, Don and Cheryl McGirr; great grandmother, Frances Shifflett, niece and nephews, Sofia, Riley and Alexander Sukhov; numerous aunts and uncles; and her dog “Zoey” Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Wednesday, January 30, 2019 at the Kyger Funeral Home in Elkton with Pastors Ted Hott and Travis Hensley officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt.

Olivet Cemetery in McGaheysville. There will be no viewing and the casket will remain closed. Memorial gifts may be made to the Kyger Funeral Home for help with unexpected funeral expenses.
