Obituary for Mrs. Helen Ellenburg Pinion Helen Ellenburg Pinion, 85, wife of the late Lloyd Pinion, of Seneca, passed away Tuesday, April 24, 2018, at the GHS Cottingham Hospice House. A native of Pickens County, SC, Mrs. Pinion was the daughter of the late T. B. Ellenburg and Lillian Dodgens Ellenburg. She was retired form J. P. Steven as a spinner and was a member of High Falls Church of God.

She loved her church, reading her Bible and loved her family, especially her grandchildren. Mrs. Pinion is survived by her daughter: Amanda Montague (Gilbert) of Seneca; daughter-in-law: Joan Pinion of Seneca; brothers: James Ellenburg of Seneca, Derrill Ellenburg of Seneca, Jerry Ellenburg (Faye) of Seneca and Milton Ellenburg (Gladys) of West Union; sisters: Earlene Yost (Wayne) of Seneca and Pat Hargate of West Union; grandchildren: Sabrina Pinion, Darian Pinion, Douglas Pinion, Danny Montague (Courtney) and Jennifer Montague Smith (Michael); and great-grandchildren: Addison Montague, Aiden Montague and Brantley Smith. In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Pinion was preceded in death by her sons: Randall Pinion and Wayne Pinion.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM, Friday, April 27, 2018, at Davenport Funeral Home Chapel with entombment to follow at Oconee Memorial Park Mausoleum. The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 PM, Friday, prior to the service at Davenport Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Oconee Hospice of the Foothills, GHS Cottingham Hospice House, Attn: Foundation Office, 298 Memorial Drive, Seneca, SC 29672 or High Falls Church of God, 405 Neal Road, Seneca, SC 29672.
