Hilario Acevedo Ramos, 84 of Perth Amboy, passed away on Friday, April 27, 2018 at Amboy Care Center, Perth Amboy with his family by his side. Hilario was born in Isabella , Puerto Rico and came to Perth Amboy many years ago. He was a Farmer in his home town.

Hilario was a parishioner of Most Holy Name of Jesus Parish at Our Lady of Hungary Church. He is preceded in death by his dear son of Felix Acevedo and Adela Ramos; loving father of Orlando and Ramon Acevedo. He is survived by his devoted wife Carmen Monroig; beloved father of Alejandrino and his wife Iris Acevedo, Deida and her husband Margarito Guzman, Luz and her husband Angelo Correa, Rosa and his wife Javier Carbajol, Juana and her husband Jose Santiago and Juan Acevedo and his wife Sonia Ramos; dear brother of a sister and 3 brothers; adored grandfather of 22 and great ~ grandfather of 32; cherished uncle of many nieces and nephews.

We begin to leave on Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at 9:15 am from the Gustav J. Novak Funeral Home, 419 Barclay Street, Perth Amboy for a funeral mass at 10 am at Our Lady of Hungary Church. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Hungary Cemetery, Fords. Visiting is on Tuesday from 5 ~ 9 pm.
