Obituary for Iris McMahon Hall Iris (McMahon) Hall, 79, formerly of Hardwood and Foster City, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 19, 2018 at Florence Health Services in Florence, WI. Iris was born March 9, 1939 in Helps, MI, to Edna Cooper and James Myers. Iris married William McMahon in January of 1961 and he preceded her in death in 1965.

First and foremost, Iris was a mother and she loved raising her children. Iris worked many harvest seasons at the Steinbrecher and Bauer Potato Farms as well as being an election worker for Breen Township. Iris was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Foster City.

She was an extremely hard working woman and in addition to raising a family she could be found gardening, canning, cooking or doing yard work. Iris was very creative and enjoyed making crafts, sewing, crocheting and quilting. She also enjoyed going to auctions and rummage sales.

Iris had a love for animals and adored her cats, Roscoe and Lou. She also enjoyed feeding and watching the birds. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Iris is survived by her children, William (Christine) McMahon, Julie (Jim) Bowman, Brenda (Mike) Treiber, Glenda Kronmueller, Autumn (Chuck) Tun and Rodney (Barb) McMahon; a sister, Ethel Kramer; grandchildren, Derrick Brasure, Jim (Jamie) McMahon, Michael & Olivia Treiber, Cassie (Marcus) Bubloni, Marcus (Michele) Treiber, Lydia Steinbrecher, Rhoads Tun, James & Jeffrey Bowman, Andrea (Matt) Blok and Ryan (Kelly) McMahon; her Godchildren, Tina Anderson and Lily DePotie; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Jack and Everette Cooper and a sister, O`diel Newman. Visitation will be on Saturday, May 26 from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Foster City.

Funeral services will follow at 11:00 am at the church. Fr. Darryl Pepin will offer the Mass of Christian burial.

Burial will be in the Foster City Cemetery. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all the staff at Florence Health Services for the compassionate care they gave Iris, especially Doris and Anna. Condolences may be expressed to the family of Iris Hall online at www.
