J.’s Obituary J. Ann McCormick, 88, of Dunbar went home to be with the Lord on January 24, 2019. Ann was a devout Christian and attended Christ Church United Methodist, Charleston. She had a Bachelor’s Degree in Education, worked toward her Master’s Degree in Counseling and Guidance through WVU, and was a member of the National Christian Counselors Association.

Ann was a teacher and counselor at the WV Rehabilitation Center and former substitute teacher in Kanawha County Elementary Schools. She was preceded in death by her parents Donald and Eva Searle. Ann is survived by her daughter, Joy McCormick, Marietta, GA; son, Joseph McCormick and his wife Anne of Orlando, FL; two grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at 7 p.m. on Monday, January 28 at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar with Rev. Ravi Isaiah officiating. Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. prior to the service at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.

A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, January 29 at Grandview Memorial Park, Dunbar.
