Obituary for Jacob Lee Brokaw (Jake) Jacob Lee Brokaw, 35 died July 4, 2018 at CHI Health-St. Francis. Celebration of life service will be 1 PM Friday, July 13th at All Faiths Funeral Home. Daniel Naranjo will officiate.

Burial of ashes will be in the Grand Island Cemetery. Family will greet friends an hour before service time. Jake was born September 5, 1982 at Central City.

He was raised and received his education in Central City and Grand Island. He worked construction with Sukup grain bins and was currently working at JBS Swift. Some of his enjoyments included a love of fishing and camping, partying around the campfire, helping others in need, listening to music and working outdoors.

Most of all he enjoyed time spent with family and friends. Survivors include his mother and step-father, Sylvia and Gary Lonowski; brother, Leslie Brokaw; special friends, Tammy Shriner and her son, Eric Shriner and Todd Haith; grandmother, Clara Ruhl; grandfather, Phillip Roman, Sr.; aunts, LeeAnn Terjak, Frances Llanes, Flora Roman, Connie Dettman and Cindy Hines; uncles, Raymond Roman, Phillip Roman, Jimmy Roman, Larry Brokaw, Terry Brokaw and Darrell Widman and many cousins and friends. He is preceded in death by his father, Rick Brokaw; grandparents, Flora Roman and Loyal Ruhl; aunts, Twila Widman, Angie Roman and Betty Ann Roman and cousins, Amy Roman, Joshua Beal and Kiara Roman.
