Obituary for Darlene M. Jeppesen After 34,485 days on earth, Darlene M. Jeppesen went to her heavenly home on September 19, 2018. Celebration of life services will be held on Monday at 10 a.m. with viewing an hour prior at All Faiths Funeral Home. Joel Henson will officiate.

Burial will follow at Grand Island City Cemetery. Darlene was born on April 2, 1924 in Grand Island, to Lloyd “Mike” Jensen and Lola (Burger) Jensen. Darlene graduated from Grand Island High School.

On June 6, 1947 she was united in marriage to Ken Jeppesen in Grand Island. This union was blessed with two children, Randy and Jody. Darlene was devoted to her family, she loved and supported her children in all of their endeavors.

She enjoyed cooking (especially sweets), sewing, and reading. She shared a special bond with her granddaughter, Kendra. Darlene enjoyed traveling around the Midwest with her husband, Ken.

Her memory is cherished by her daughter, Jody and Ken Stoks of Apache Junction, AZ; granddaughter, Kendra and CJ Porter of Apache Junction, AZ; and two nephews, Gary Hasselmann and Jason Cornelius. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ken in 2003, her son, Randy in 2001, and her special companion, Taco, in 2015. Memorials are suggested to the family for designation at a later date.
