Obituary for Gwen Ann Neilson Gwen Ann Neilson, 65, of Grand Island, died Monday, September 3, 2018 at her home. No funeral services are scheduled at this time. All Faiths Funeral Home is serving the family.

Gwen was born on December 19, 1952 to Jay and Lucile (Corcilius) Neilson in Denver, CO. She graduated from Gresham High School in Oregon, in 1971, and received her nursing degree in Wyoming. She began her nursing career in Wyoming at the community hospital, then moved to Oregon, where she worked in long term care.

Finally, she returned to Denver, and worked on a psych unit. Gwen is remembered as always being compassionate to all of her patients. Gwen was a member of Chapman’s Baptist Church, and has maintained a strong faith throughout her life.

She enjoyed fly fishing and she was quite artistic. Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Coveah (Mike Roach) Bollig of Denver, CO. , Joe (Cierra) Bollig of Houston, TX.
