Obituary for Robert “Bob” Kreider Sr. Robert (Bob) Lee Kreider, Sr., 84, died Saturday at Grand Island Park Place Care Center. Funeral services will be held Monday, September 3rd at 10:30 am at Grace Baptist Church. Reverend John Hayes will officiate the service.

All Faiths Funeral Home is serving the family. Bob was born on December 3, 1933 at a farm in Roseland, NE. to Linus and Estella (Smith) Kreider.

He grew up on a farm just east of Doniphan where he graduated from Doniphan High School. After graduation, he entered the United States Army, where he served as a medic until he was honorably discharged in 1958. Bob was united in marriage to Susie Enevoldsen on April 20, 1957.

Following their marriage, they lived in Highland Park, IL. After moving around to several different places, the couple finally settled in Chapman, NE. They then moved to Grand Island in 1986.

Bob was a hard-working man, who spent his time working on the farm after school, taking a part-time second job during his military service and ultimately becoming a foreman for Diamond Engineering for 37 years. He was a member of Grace Baptist Church, and loved spending his free time with his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife; children, Linda Warner, Janet (Walter) Karabin, Robert Kreider, Jr., Anthony (Alia Vicrey) Kreider, and Aryanna Mystique Warner; brother, Fred Kreider; six grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
