Obituary for Glenda G. Tuma Glenda G. Tuma, 70, of Grand Island, passed away Saturday, October 20, 2018, at Wedgewood Care Center. In lieu of a funeral service, family will receive friends from 6-8 pm Monday, October 29, 2018, at All Faiths Funeral Home. Glenda was born on October 21, 1947 in Grand Island, to Basil and Roberta (Wright) Clark.

She was raised and received her education in Grand Island as well. She was united in marriage on November 21, 1966 to Lowell J. Tuma. Blessed into this union were two children, Lowell K. and Renee.

The family made their home in St. Paul, where Glenda worked as a waitress in a café, while raising her family. Glenda enjoyed reading and writing poetry. Some of her poems were published on three separate occasions.

As a creative soul, Glenda found beauty in nature and enjoyed watching the birds as the days went by. Those left to cherish her memory are her husband; son, Lowell (Tonya) Tuma; and eight grandchildren. Glenda was preceded in death by her parents, daughter, and brother (Gary Clark).
