Obituary for Bonnie Lu Scott Bonnie Lu Scott, 83, of Grand Island passed away on Thursday, July 5, 2018. To honor Bonnie’s wishes cremation has taken place and her ashes will be taken to Oklahoma at a later date. All Faiths Funeral Home is serving the family.

Bonnie was born October 3, 1934 at Rosedale, NE, the daughter of Palmer and Mabel (Ainsworth) Canfield. She grew up and received her education in Erickson, NE. On December 10, 1954 she was united in marriage to George F. Scott.

The couple lived several places before moving to Kiowa, OK in 1984 and to Grand Island in 2001. Bonnie was a born caregiver and enjoyed helping people. For several years she was a Home Healthcare Provider.

She is survived by brothers and sisters-in-law, George and Babe Canfield of Blacklick, OH and Rex and Blanche Canfield of Grand Island; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, George; her parents; brothers, Arthur, Palmer Jr., Francis and Eldon; and sisters, Lilie Halburton, Besse Pierce, Mary Carsten, Pearl Paxton and an infant sister.
