He was born on July 18, 1949 to Stanley and Rita Morrison in San Antonio, Texas. James had an outgoing personality that friends and loved ones will remember and cherish.

He had a contagious smile and was always willing to help a family member or friend in need. James had an incredible talent and love for carpentry and a strong work ethic. He had a passion for the great outdoors and would often rejuvenate by fishing and swimming.

These hobbies and his zest for life have been passed down to his only daughter, niece, and nephew. James had a unique personality that endeared him to those close to him and will always be remembered. His love for his family and friends will be truly missed.

James was preceded in death by his father, Stanley Morrison; his brothers, Chuck and David Morrison; and his sister, Patricia Morrison. He is survived by his only daughter, Christina; his loving mother, Rita; his niece, Trisha; his nephew, Daniel; and his sister-in-law, Patricia. A visitation has been scheduled for January 8, 2019 from 12:00-1:00 PM at Doeppenschmidt Funeral Home in Canyon Lake, TX, with a Rosary Service at 1:00 PM.

Burial will follow in procession to Crane’s Mill Cemetery in Sattler, TX.
