James Robert Mitchem April 23, 1951 – January 22, 2019 Share this obituary Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card A memorial service for Mr. James Robert “Bobby” Mitchem, of Reform, AL, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, January 27, 2019, at Mosley Cemetery in Gilbertown, AL. Mr. Mitchem, 67, passed away January 22, 2019. He was a United States Army veteran and served in Vietnam.

He was an amazing father and papaw and will be missed by all. He is survived by his daughter Lanna Mitchem Farr (Timothy) of Tuscaloosa, AL; grandchildren, Logan Farr, Rose Farr, and Bell Farr; step grandchildren, Breanna Farr, Hunter Farr, and Kane Farr; and sister-in-law, Linda Mosley of Gilbertown, AL. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lona Ga Mitchem; an infant son; parents, J.W. and Alice Blount Mitchem, father-in-law, Leon Mosley, mother-in-law, Bessie Mosley, brothers-in-law, Phillip Mosley and Rush Mosley (JoAnn), and sister-in-law, Sherry McBride.

Lanna and family would like to say a special thank you to Mrs. June Ott and Mr. Harry Ott who have provided in home care for Bobby for the last 10 years. You have become family and we love you. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made toward funeral expenses.
