Jane’s Obituary Jane M. Bruns, age 63, of Gibbon, died Thursday, January 17, 2019 at her home. A Memorial Visitation will be held from 2:00 – 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 26, 2019 at the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home in Gibbon, with a time of sharing at 4:30 p.m. To leave an online condolence for her family, or to sign the guestbook, go to: www. mvfh.org Jane is survived by her husband, David Bruns; mother-in-law, Verna Bruns; daughters, Abbey (Jon) Guggisberg, Carrie (Josh) Muchow, and Sarah (Eric) Wray; grandchildren, Wyatt, Jackson and Lane Guggisberg, Finn and Leighton Muchow, and Ariana and Eleanor Wray; sisters, Kathy (Mike) Brown, Pat (Larry) Johnson, Deb Mahoney, Kelly Fischer (Beaver Hatch), Shannon (Kevin) Rothmeier; brothers, Tom (Barb) Dillon, Jim (Joy) Dillon, Kevin Dillon, Randy (Kathy) Dillon, Todd (Mary) Dillon, and Jon (Darla) Dillon; sisters-in-law, Pat Dillon, Pam (Bruce) Antonson , and Mona (Terry) Forst ; and many nieces, nephews, and other relatives & friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Gene & Bev Dillon; father- in –law, Marvin Bruns; her brother, Mike Dillon; brother- in- law, Bob Mahoney; and nephew, Jay Mahoney. Jane Marie Dillon was born on September 14, 1955 in Olivia, MN to Gene & Bev (Wiersma) Dillon. She grew up in rural Olivia and graduated from Olivia High School in 1973.

Jane then obtained her LPN in nursing. She was a nurse for 40 years. Jane enjoyed working at the GFW elementary school as the school nurse for many years through Sibley Public Health.

She was united in marriage to David Bruns in 1995. Jane and Dave resided in rural Gibbon and ran Calico Creek Farm where they raised Missouri Foxtrotter horses and Boxers. She enjoyed gardening, her dogs and horses, and getting into mischief with her grandkids.
