Obituary for Jean Taylor Sparks Jean Taylor Sparks 92, of Bonita Springs, Fl. gained her Angel Wings Nov. 21, 2018.
She was born April 2, 1926 in Calhoun Co., AL a daughter of the late William B. and Pearl E. (neé Frizzell) Taylor. She had been a resident of Bonita Springs since 1967 moving from Wellington, AL. Jean worked alongside her husband in the produce industry for over 50 years.
She was a devoted Baptist, holding the honor of being the longest living member of The First Baptist Church of Bonita Springs. She worked with the Awanna’s (Sparks) for many years. Her favorite hobby was potting and growing her flowers She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Jack C. Sparks, 3 sisters, Jo Roper, Sue Cody, Yvonne Daniels, and 1 brother, Ferrell Taylor.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her 3 children, Ronnie (Martha) Sparks of Edisto Island, SC, Sandra Sparks Sage of Wellington, AL and, Karen (Lou) Pauly of Bonita Springs, FL; one brother, Paul Taylor of Hollywood, FL; 8 grandchildren, Carla Sage, Ronette (Steve) Bothelho, Crystal (Mark) Rupp, Tiffany (Shane) Shirey, Channing (Grant) Nichols, Jason (Cathy) McCormick, Jeramiah (Jaylee Ann) Johnston, and Chris (Tracy) Johnston. She also is survived by 15 great grandchildren, Joseph and Sarah Sage, Sitzlar, Marlley and Taylor Shirey, Lexie, Lilly and Lea Rupp, Porter and Findley Botelho, Mac and Pearl Nichols, Jenna Johnston, Sebastian Johnston and Madison and Emerson McCormick. The family will receive friends on Monday, November 26, 2018 from 12:00 noon until 1:00 PM at Shikany’s Bonita Funeral Home 28300 So.
Tamiami Tr. , Bonita Springs, FL. Funeral services will begin at 1:00 PM at the funeral home with Pastor Russ Winn, officiating.
