Obituary for Jean Williams Jean Williams, age 74, of Piney Flats, went home to be with her Lord, on Monday, April 23, 2018, at the Bristol Regional Medical Center. She was a daughter of the late Claude and Emma Cordelia Baird Hyatt and was born in Sullivan County. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.

She was a member of Edgefield United Methodist Church and she loved watching movies. Those left to cherish her memory include two daughters, Angela Scott and her husband, Carl Scott, III; Sandra Moores and her husband, George Moores, II, all of Piney Flats; a son, Ronald Lee Williams, II and his wife, Laura, of Evensville, TN; nine grandchildren, Bryan Scott, Jason Scott, Ashley Bowen and her husband, Jason, Ronald Lee Williams, III, Jakob Williams, Emma Williams, Grace Williams, Nathan Williams, and Thomas Williams; two great-grandchildren, Carter Bowen, and Marshall Bowen; and a brother, Kenneth Hyatt. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

A service to honor the life of Mrs. Williams will be conducted at 7:00 PM on Thursday, April 26, 2018, in the Chapel of Peace of Tetrick Funeral Home, Elizabethton with Rev. Estel Williams officiating. The family will receive friends in the funeral home chapel from 5:00 – 7:00 PM prior to the service on Thursday, or at the home at other times.

The committal and entombment service will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Friday, April 27, 2018, at East Tennessee Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Carl Scott, Michael Bare, Bryan Scott, Jason Scott, Ronald Williams, III and Jakob Williams. Honorary pallbearers will be Kenneth Hyatt and Buster Bare.

Those wishing to attend are invited to meet the family at the cemetery at 10:45 AM. Those who prefer memorial in lieu of flowers may make donations to the Kidney Foundation, P.O.
