Jeff Moss, 56, of Owensboro died Saturday, April 28, 2018 while under the care of Hospice of Western Kentucky. He was born on July 13, 1961 in Owensboro to the late Herbert E. Moss and Mary Goodman Moss. Jeff was Manager at Old Hickory BBQ, where he loved working beside his second family.

He was a member of Precious Blood Catholic Church and a former member of Seven Hills Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Charles “Herbie” Moss; his father-in-law, Norman E. Tucker; and his mother-in-law, Virginia R. Tucker. Survivors include his wife and best friend for 35 years, Norma Moss; two sons, Norman “Andy” Moss and Nicholas Shane Moss and his wife, Meagan, who was like a daughter to Jeff; two grandchildren, Makenna Moss and Aiden Moss; a brother and his wife, Mike and Cindy Moss; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and a slew of friends which he loved with all of his heart.

Services will be at11:00am on Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at Precious Blood Catholic Church, 3306 Fenmore Street, in Owensboro. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 2:00pm until 8:00pm with prayers at 6:00pm and again on Wednesday from 9:00am until 10:00am at James H. Davis Funeral Home & Crematory. Ennichement will be at a later date at Resurrection Cemetery.

Jeff and his family ask that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to Precious Blood Catholic Church, 3306 Fenmore Street, Owensboro, KY 42301. Jeff’s family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Jewraj Maheshwari, Dr. Jeremy Bradley, and to everyone at Hospice of Western Kentucky and the Heartford House, especially their nurse, Robin.
