Larry Wayne Utley, 75, of Fordsville, died Friday, April 27, 2018 at Owensboro Health Regional Health System. He was born in Madisonville on August 18, 1942 to the late George Utley and Minnie Poe Utley. He was a retired Diesel Mechanic.

Larry loved restoring classic cars and was an avid admirer of antique clocks, but most of all he loved his family. Survivors include his wife, Nancy Pressley Utley; his four children, Bobbie Jo Phillips of Owensboro and Rachel Utley of Denver, CO, Paul Utley of Aurora, CO, and Christina Phillips of Henderson; three grandchildren, Joshua Utley, Jade Proctor, and Caitlin Proctor; and his life-long friends, Roger and Phyllis Buchanan. Services will be at 1:00pm on Tuesday, May 1, 2018 at James H. Davis Funeral Home & Crematory in Owensboro.

Burial will be at Zion Brick Church Cemetery in Slaughters, KY. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 10:00am until 1:00pm at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to The Hearing Aid Project, 1912 East Meyer Blvd, Kansas City, MO 64132.
