Obituary for Jeffrey M. Shearer Jeffrey M. Shearer, 42, died on Monday, October 15, 2018. He was born in York on March 27, 1976, son of Lauren A. (Benton) Shearer and the late Jaye R. Shearer. Jeffrey served in the United States Marine Corps.

He graduated from Penn State York with a Bachelor’s Degree. He was employed as an Insurance Agent for Bubb Insurance in Shrewsbury. Jeffrey was a member of the Southern York County Business Association.

He was also a Philadelphia Eagles and Penn State football fan. In addition to his mother, Jeffrey is survived by his sister, Jennifer Hartman and her husband, John; two nephews, Zachary and Benjamin Hartman; and his aunt, Judith Eisenhart. Following cremation, services will be private.
