Jesse Hargrave Pharr, 93, of Georgia Street, Concord, NC, passed away Saturday, January 19, at the Brian Center of Concord. He was born February 1, 1925 in Cabarrus County to the late Daniel Pharr and the late Nora Forest Pharr. Jesse was educated in the Lutheran Schools and was formerly employed with Cannon Mills.

He was a member of Grace Lutheran Church where he was the eldest male member. Services will be held on Saturday, January 26, at Grace Lutheran Church. Visitation will be 12:00 – 1:00 PM with funeral services at 1:00 PM, burial will follow.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, James. L. Pharr. Those left to cherish fond memories include his wife, Jennie Kirk Pharr of the home; son, Michael Earle (Lillie) of Kannapolis; two grandchildren; one great-grandchild; two sisters, Vernie P. King and Elnora P. Barrier both of Concord and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
