Johnny “Squirrel” Lee Anderson, 72, of Lakeview St., Kannapolis, NC, passed away Wednesday, January 2, 2019, at Atrium Health-Northeast. He was born December 25, 1946 in Cabarrus County to the late James Wesley Anderson and the late Lalar Williamson Anderson. Johnny was educated in the Kannapolis City School System and was a 1964 graduate of G. W. Carver High School and was formerly employed with the Cannon Mills.

Services will be held Monday, January 7, 2019, at Clark Funeral Home Chapel, 923 Indiana Street, Kannapolis, NC. Visitation will be 12:30 PM –1:00 PM with funeral services at 1:00. Burial will follow at the Bethel Baptist Cemetery.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Deborah Anderson and a brother, Thurmond Anderson. Those left to cherish fond memories include five daughters, Judge Juanita Boger Allen of Concord, Andrea Boger Bryant (Timothy) and Thyais Boger Massey (Mario) both of Charlotte, Angela Johnson of Kannapolis, April Pharr of Salisbury; three sons, Jonathan Johnson (Keshion) of Kannapolis, Sean Boger (Rose) and Havis Jermaine Gill both of Maryland; 14 grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; one sister, Joyce Anderson Howard of Kannapolis; one brother, Alan Anderson (Bonita) of Concord; god-daughter, Crystal Bost Melton of Salisbury; special nephew, Kamani Anderson of Killeen, TX; the love of his life, Anita Gail Boger of Concord; special friend, William Brown of Kannapolis and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
