Obituary for Kitty Hatsue Yoneda Steiner Mrs. Kitty Hatsue Yoneda Steiner, 97, passed away Saturday, December 29, 2018, at CHS-NorthEast in Concord. A blessing…she passed quietly into the Lord’s hands while asleep as she fought congestive heart failure. A memorial service is scheduled for 1:00 pm Wednesday, January 2, 2019, at Lady’s Funeral Home Chapel.

Pastor John Harrill will officiate. The family will receive friends following the service. Mrs. Steiner was born October 12, 1921 in Osaka, Japan.

She was a daughter of the late Kogane-machi Yoneda and Kolura-shi Yoneda. She attended Hickory Grove Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George Lewis Steiner.

Those left to cherish her memory are her son, George J. Steiner and wife Judy of Kannapolis; and two granddaughters, Mandi Stokes and husband Tony of Montgomery, TX and Kristi Steiner of Portland, OR; and two great grandsons, Charlie Stokes and Bennett Stokes.
