Bernice Stinson Parks, 94, of Fox Street, Concord, NC, passed away Sunday, December 30, in Fayetteville, NC. She was born June 19, 1954 in Lancaster, SC to the late Thomas Nathan Stinson and the late Lillie Jane Mobley Stinson. Bernice was educated in the Cabarrus County public schools and was formerly employed with Cannon Mills.

She was a member Mt. Olive Christian Church where she served as a Missionary, Deaconess and in most organizations in the church. Services will be held Friday, January 4, at Mt.

Olive Christian Church. Visitation will be 12:00 – 1:00 PM with funeral services at 1:00. Burial will follow in Rutherford Memorial Cemetery.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Lester Parks; daughter Judy Parks; sons, Hubert Leon Parks and Etheridge Eugene Parks. . Those left to cherish fond memories include three sons, Henry Wesley Parks of Salisbury, Gregory J. Parks (Catherine) of Fayetteville, NC, Lester T. Parks of Concord; two daughters, Mary Virginia Jones (Charles) of Mt.

Pleasant, NC, Rosa Blake (Rev. John) of Concord; step-daughter, Sarah Louise Little of Concord; 25 grandchildren; and a host of great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
