Tony “Suave” Truesdale, 63, of Rosemont Ave. , Kannapolis, NC, passed away Saturday, January 12, 2019, at Atrium Health-Northeast, Concord, NC. He was born November 27, 1955 in Iredell County to the late Luja Hedrick and Nina Mae Truesdale McCullough.

Tony was educated in the Rowan County School System. He was a graduate of South Rowan High School and was formerly employed with Cannon Mills. Tony was a member of Bethpage United Presbyterian Church where he was a former Trustee Board member and also a member of the Rosehill Community.

Services will be held Saturday, January 19, 2019, at Bethpage United Presbyterian Church, 8701 Mooresville Road, Concord, NC. Visitation will be 1:00 PM –2:00 PM with funeral services at 2:00. Burial will follow at Rosehill Baptist Church Cemetery.

In addition to his father he was preceded in death by his grandmother, Lula Mae Truesdale; his step-father, Jimmy L. McCullough. Those left to cherish fond memories include two sons, Sharod Knox and Te`Rodd A. McKinnon both of Kannapolis; his mother, Nina McCullough of the home; two brothers, Terry Truesdale of Chester, VA and Jimmy McCullough of Kannapolis; four sisters, Cindy Truesdale and Benita Truesdale both of Kannapolis, Felicia Truesdale of Jacksonville, FL and Audrey Hawkins (Nehemiah) of Salisbury, NC; one aunt, Mildred Smith (Dempsy) of Landis, NC and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
