Jessica Joy Phillips, age 41, of Elwood, passed away on Thursday, January 10, 2019 at her residence. She was born on September 22, 1977, in Ohio to the late Terry and Pamela Doucette. On April 21, 2007 she married Michael Phillips.

Jessica worked for the Amazon Corporation in Whitestown, IN for 2 years where she worked in the warehouse in several different positions . She enjoyed being at home and spending time with her family. Jessica is survived by her husband, of 12 years, Michael Phillips of Elwood, son, Stephen Phillips of Elwood, daughter, Kala (Adrian ) McIntosh-Soriano of FL, 2 sisters, Tonya Randolph of OH and Amanda (James) Nguyen of CA, a brother, Bryan Abshear of CA, and several nieces and nephews.

Jessica was preceded in death by her father, Terry Doucette, and mother, Pamela Doucette. Per Jessica’s wishes, there will be no formal funeral services at this time. Arrangements were entrusted to Dunnichay Funeral Home in Elwood.
