Jessie Janae Harris , June 23, 1994 — May 02, 2018

Jessie Janae Harris, 23, of Pleasant Grove passed away Wednesday, May 2, 2018 in American Fork, Utah. She was born on June 23, 1994 in Gunnison, Utah. Prior to her birth her father passed away, so the beginning of her life was just her, her mother Raegan Harris and her older sister Karlei Harris.

They resided in Aurora, Utah for 5 years. They then moved to the Pleasant Grove area where Raegan had met Gordon Frandsen and married him. Together they had two more daughters, Stephanie Frandsen and Erica Frandsen.

Jessie was always the “popular one” meeting everyone in the neighborhood first. When she was around 12 years old she was diagnosed with cancer, a tumor on the right lobe of her brain. When surgeons went in to remove the tumor, they damaged some of her nerve endings causing her to be partially paralyzed on her left side.

She was then given chemo therapy to treat the remainder of the tumor and cancer cells. After the cancer, Jessie lived with her grandmother, Connie Hansen for 6 years or so. During that time she began having grand mal seizures which slowly made her brain function get worse.

The last part of her life was spent living with her oldest sister and her husband Karlei and Austin Willden who were a great help to her during these last months. On Saturday May 12, 2018 we will be having a celebration of her life at the Lindon City Park (200 state street Lindon Utah) from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Condolences may be sent to the family at www. olpinmortuary.com.
