Beloved father, devoted grandfather, cherished brother and friend of many, Jimmie Michael “Jimbo” Ellis, age 65, passed away at his home on Thursday, May 9, 2019. He was born in Muskogee, Oklahoma on November 30, 1953 to James McBride Ellis and Shirley Williams Ellis. He is preceded in death by his parents and his grandmother.

Jimbo is survived by his children, Jessica Megan Ellis and Jacob Mylles Ellis and their mother, Robbie Clark; his granddaughters, Candence Mae Ilgenfritz and Kyra Nichole Sharp; his sisters, Martha and Cindy; his nieces, Krystle Curley and Kelly Nichole Gomez; his nephews, Brian Ellis and Brandon Ellis and his close friends, Johnny and Danielle Procell. Jimbo proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corp. He loved fishing, hunting, grilling and yard work but his true passion in life was his children and his grandchildren.

He was the best father ever and always made time for his family and friends. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. A Celebration of Life service for Jimbo will be held on Saturday, June 1, 2019 at 2:00pm at his home.
