Obituary for John David Klinedinst John David Klinedinst, 78, of Brogue, went to be with the Lord his Savior, Saturday, June 16, 2018. Born in York New Salem on March 30, 1940, he was the son of the late Harry and Frances (Richcrick) Klinedinst. John was the loving husband and best friend of Judy C. (Craley) Klinedinst; they were married in the summer of 2001.

John was a truck driver for Consolidated Freight. He was a US Air Force Veteran. John was a faithful member of Red Lion Bible Church.

In his younger years, he enjoyed riding motorcycle, especially through the Mohave Desert while in the Air Force. John enjoyed going out to eat and watching car races on TV. Known for having a “sweet tooth”, he loved pies, a good dish of ice cream, and his Tastykakes.

He cherished time spent with family, especially family Christmas gatherings. In addition to his wife, John is survived by his daughter, Cynthia Jane Klinedinst of York, his step-son, Robert Earl Lieberknecht, and his wife Tammy of Red Lion, his step-grandchildren, Shad Lieberknecht and Jade Hammers, and his step-great-granddaughter, Savannah Hammers. He was preceded in death by his sister, Phyllis Berkebile.

A funeral service to celebrate John’s life will be held on Friday, June 22, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at the Red Lion Bible Church, 105 Springvale Road, Red Lion, with Pastor Brian Witmer officiating. Interment will follow in Kreutz Creek Cemetery. The will be a viewing at the church on Friday from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions in John’s memory may be made to the Red Lion Bible Church, 105 Springvale Road, Red Lion, PA 17356.
