John Jeffrey Schriever, 57, of Connersville, passed away early Wednesday morning, January 2, 2019, at his home. He was born December 5, 1961, in Oxford, Ohio, one of three children of John Albert and Ruth Feltner Schriever. He graduated from Talawanda High School and later received his bachelor’s degree from Indiana University East.

A veteran of the United States Army, John proudly served during Operation Desert Storm. Following his honorable discharge, he returned to Oxford for residence. John was an avid football fan and enjoyed anything that was Harley-Davidson.

He was a loving father, grandfather and son. Survivors include two children, Joe Dan (Alicia) Schriever, of Indianapolis and Lita Marie Owens, of Oxford, Ohio; a grandson, Brooks Schriever, of Indianapolis; his mother, Ruth Rowekamp, of Connersville; two sisters, Donna (Gary) Finch and Debbie Schriever, both of Liberty, Indiana; a number of nieces, nephews and cousins. He is preceded in death by his father, John Albert Schriever who passed away in 1976.

A Memorial Service will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in St. Mary Catholic Cemetery, Oxford, Ohio. Miller, Moster, Robbins Funeral home is in charge of the arrangements and friends may visit anytime online at millermosterrobbins.com.
