Joseph’s Obituary Joseph E. Weigand, 56, of Oswego died March 18th, 2019 at Upstate Medical. Born in Oswego, he was the son of the late Theodore and Matilda “Tillie” (Wheeler) Weigand. Joe loved working on cars, he also enjoyed going to the Oswego Speedway and watching NASCAR.

Surviving are his daughter, Stephanie and his son, Jacob Weigand of Oswego; two sisters, Marietta (Bud) Schoenemann of Fulton, Mississippi; Cheryl (Chip) Grono of Chadds Ford, PA; three brothers, Alfred (Joanne) Weigand of Cheyenne, Wyoming; William (Thelma “Fran”) Weigand of Auburn, NY, and Laurance Weigand of Clayton, NY; several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Theodore “Teddy” Weigand. A private burial will be held in the spring, at the convenience of his family, in Hillside Cemetery.
