Josephine’s Obituary Josephine Ann Geraci, known by all as Joann, was born September 27, 1923. She died with her family by her side on March 11, 2019. In her 95 years on earth, she blessed everyone who was lucky enough to be in her presence.

She defined all that was good in life. Joann, the daughter of the late John and Mary Guariglia, was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. She married the love of her life, Nat Geraci, on August 29, 1948 and raised four children who were fortunate to have them as parents.

They remained married for 62 years until Nat’s death in 2011 at which time she moved to Oswego, New York for the remaining years of her life. Her hobbies were numerous and included volunteering, painting, sewing, golf, ceramics, bridge and many others. Sitting still and doing nothing were not options for her.

She had a way of making many friends and making people smile, and feel good about their lives. All who met her would attest to this completely. She is predeceased by her parents, her husband and her daughter Linda (1980).

She is survived by a son, Robert, (Patricia, deceased), two daughters, Joan Landry (Tony), Carol, and and her beautiful army of grandchildren, John (Dana) Geraci, Amber (Brian) Getts, Eric Landry and great grandchildren, Taylor, Madelyn, William, Nolan and Hannah. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday March 26th at 10 AM at St. Mary’s Church in Baldwinsville. Burial will be in Serenity Gardens Memorial Park in Florida.
