Josephine’s Obituary Josephine H. (Losurdo) Gravante, 89 of Liverpool, passed away on Saturday. She was born in Syracuse and was a resident of Liverpool for many years. Josephine loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was an active parishioner of Pope John XXIII Church in Liverpool. She is predeceased in March 2017 by her husband, Joseph. Surviving to cherish her memory are, three daughters; Teresa “Terri” Alessi of Cicero, Mary (Carey) Merritt of Pulaski, Joann (Robert) Powell of Manlius, 9 grandchildren; Heather, Nicole (Nicholas), Benjamin, Samantha (Stephen), Stephanie (Jon), Robert, Michael, Marc, Alex, six great-grandchildren, AJ, Evelyn, Connor, Andrew, Logan and Asher, her brother Dominick (Mary) Losurdo and sister Carmella Leigh, both of Las Vegas, NV and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Family will receive friends on Thursday, March 7th from 10am to 11am at Pope John XXIII Church, 8290 Soule Road, Liverpool, with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 11am. The Rite of Committal and burial will follow in Our Lady of Peace Cemetery, Baldwinsville.
