Philip’s Obituary Philip Lyman Burdick, 90, of Liverpool passed away on Monday at the Cottages at Garden Grove in Cicero. He was born in Greig, NY to the late Stephen Seth and Edythe (Norton) Burdick. Philip was a graduate of Syracuse University with a Bachelor of Science Degree.

He then proudly served in the US Army Signal Corp. during the Korean War before returning to Syracuse University obtaining his Master’s in Business Administration. Philip and his late wife, Helen (Dewey) Burdick, spent most of their married years in Liverpool where he was the President and Chief Operating Officer of Cambridge Filter Corporation.

Philip and Helen spent most of their retired years in Punta Gorda, FL, where they enjoyed golfing and boating. He is predeceased by his wife, Helen, sister, June Plemons and two brothers Norton and Richard Burdick, Surviving to cherish his memory are his daughter, Sarah Burdick (Anthony F.) Angotti, Jr., two sons, Stephen Seth Burdick and Paul Dewey Burdick, two grandchildren, Philip Daniel Angotti, Amanda Katherine Angotti and many nieces and nephews. A private family service and interment will take place in Turin Cemetery, Turin, NY.

Contributions in Philip’s memory may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association of CNY, 441 Kirkpatrick St. Syracuse, NY 13204.
