Joshua E. Prochnow, 24, of Sandusky, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, April 26, 2018 in Firelands Regional Medical Center. He was born on September 15, 1993 in Cincinnati. He has lived in both Cincinnati and Sandusky, attending Sandusky High School.

Josh was extremely artistic. He dabbled in several mediums, excelling in everything he did. He also loved to play chess.

No matter what, Josh was there for you. Josh is survived by his mother, Melissa (John) Evans, of Cincinnati; father, Jamie (Reetta Smith) Palma, of Cincinnati; siblings, Brittney (Mike) Taylor, Brianna and Bethany Prochnow, Jamie Palma, Jr., and Jordyn Palma; grandparents, Myrna (Dale) Ward, Larry Prochnow, Donna Ellington, and Raymond Couch; aunts and uncles, Tracie Himmelein, Paul Prochnow, Nicole Prochnow, Raymond Palma, and William Davis; and many cousins, family members, and friends. He was preceded in death by his cousins, Chance Himmelein.

Friends may call from 4 p.m. until funeral services begin at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, May 2 in Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave. , Sandusky. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Joshua’s name to his family, in care of the funeral home.
