David D. Marksbury February 2, 1960 – April 8, 2018 David Marksbury, 58, residing in Sandusky, passed away peacefully Sunday, April 8, 2018 after a courageous battle against cancer. David was born on February 2, 1960 in Sandusky, OH to Gary and Marilyn (White) Marksbury. David graduated from St. Mary’s Central Catholic High School in 1978.

In his spare time, he enjoyed bowling, golfing, horses, and the watching Cleveland Browns football and Cleveland Indians baseball. … Read More » He will be remembered as a gentle giant, we all knew as “Lurch”. David was also a proud dog lover of his pups, Suzy and Gizmo.

He is survived by his partner of 10 years, Cyndi Finch; mother, Marilyn; sister, Amy (Rex) King and nephew, Bret McCarthy. David has joined his father, Gary and sister, Lynn Marksbury in the glorious afterlife. Friends may call on Wednesday, April 11, 2018 from 5-7pm at Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1607 E. Perkins Ave.

, Sandusky, OH. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 12, 2018 in the funeral home at 11:00am. Father Philip Feltman will officiate.

Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Sandusky. Those wishing to contribute to David’s memory may do so to Sandusky Central Catholic Schools, 410 W. Jefferson St., Sandusky, OH 44870.
