Gertrude Mary Henry, 78, of Sandusky, passed away on Sunday, May 20, 2018 in Firelands Regional Medical Center. She was born on September 16, 1939 in Fremont to the late Cecil and Berneta Homler. She was a member of Faith Memorial Church and loved to crochet, play computer games, and keep up with Facebook.

Gertrude is survived by her sisters, April (Dave) Thornton and Rose Lombardo; and special nephew, David (Jen) Thornton. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, William Henry; daughter, Tammy Davis; and brothers, Ronald Homler and Paul Lombardo. Gertrude requested to be cremated.

A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 26 in Faith Memorial Church, 1320 E. Strub Rd. Pastor Ken Hiser will officiate. She will be buried with her husband and daughter in Oakland Cemetery.
