Kathryn Ann (Burr) Roesch, Sandusky, passed away on May 9, 2018 at the age of 92, surrounded by family in Kennesaw, Georgia. She worked as a telephone operator in the 1940s. After raising her family, Kathryn continued working in alterations at Harriet’s, Caryl Crane, and Brides World.

In retirement, she kept busy with aqua fitness classes at the YMCA, sewing for family, crafting greeting cards, and baking cookies for any special occasion. She is survived by her children, David Roesch of Texas, Robert Roesch of Ohio, Jane (David) Elliott of Ohio, and Linda (David) Crabtree of Georgia; also by 9 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Kathryn was preceded in death by her husband, Loyal S Roesch; her parents, Thelma and Frank Burr, and her sister Marylin (Burr) Starkloff.

Kathryn was a lifelong member of Grace Episcopal Church. The funeral service will be held at Grace Episcopal Church, 315 Wayne Street, on Friday, May 18 at 11:00 A.M. Visitation will be at 10:30 A.M. prior to the service. Rev.

Jan Smith Wood will officiate. Burial will follow the service at Venice Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Grace Episcopal Church or a charity of your choice.
