Lisa Lee Carter September 14, 1965 – May 11, 2018 Lisa Lee Carter, 52, residing in Findlay, formerly of Sandusky, passed away Friday, May 11, 2018 after a lengthy illness at Blanchard Valley Hospital in Findlay, OH. Lisa was born on September 14, 1965 in Port Clinton, OH to Ernie and Millie (Osmond) Lopez. Lisa was a 1984 graduate from Perkins High School and received a Journalism degree from Ohio State University.

She worked at Ford Motor Company for 9 years as an assembler… Read More » and utilized her journalism skills at various magazines and advertising companies. Lisa was a very proud Ohio State University alumni and had season tickets for numerous years. In her spare time, she enjoyed traveling, visiting museums, viewing artwork, and collecting and visiting lighthouses.

Lisa loved animals, especially her two pugs. Lisa is survived by her loving husband, Charles Carter; father, Ernie (Juanita) Lopez and brother, Eric (Christa) Lopez. Lisa is preceded in death by her mother, Millie (Osmond) Lopez and her maternal and paternal grandparents.

Friends and family may visit on Wednesday May 16, 2018 from 10 am until the time of service at 12 pm at Faith Memorial Church, 1320 East Strub Road, Sandusky, OH 44870. Pastor Ken Hiser will be officiating. Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory is assisting the family with arrangements.

Burial will follow at Meadow Green Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1607 E. Perkins Avenue, Sandusky, OH 44870 in care of the Carter family. Condolences may be shared online at www.
