Charlene (Powers) Linden March 24, 1933 – May 29, 2018 Charlene (Powers) Linden, 85, residing in Sandusky, passed away Tuesday morning, May 29, 2018 at Stein Hospice Care Center. Charlene was born on March 24, 1933 in Flint, MI to the late Rex and Gladys M. (Townsend) Powers. Charlene was a 1951 graduate from Central High School in Flint, MI.

Charlene was a member of Calvary Temple Assembly of God where she was active as a Sunday school teacher, nursery volunteer,… Read More » and choir member. Over the years she was also a school health aide, employed at Holman Jewelers and Elder-Beerman. In her spare time, she enjoyed painting, baking, biking, reading and sewing.

Her greatest joy was her family, especially her children and grandchildren. Charlene is survived by her husband, David Linden. She is also survived by her daughter, Cheryl (Dr. Todd) Csorba; sons, Brad (Michaela) Linden of Sandusky and Doug Linden of Findlay; grandchildren, Chloe, Morgan, Taylor (Troy), Andrew, Alexander, David, Caroline and Catherine; great-granddaughter, Annabelle; brother, David Lee Powers of MI and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

In addition to her parents, Charlene is preceded in death by her three sisters. Friends may call on Friday, June 1, 2018 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1607 E Perkins Ave, Sandusky. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home on Saturday, June 2, 2018 at 1:00 pm.

Rev. David Snyder will officiate. Burial will follow in Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron.
