Marcella P. (Ott) Carsten February 1, 1932 – April 11, 2018 Marcella P. (Ott) Carsten, 86, residing in Milan, passed away Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at Norwalk Memorial Home after a lengthy illness. Marcella was born on February 1, 1932 in Norwalk, OH to the late Lewis and Gertrude (Souslin) Ott. Marcella graduated from St. Paul High School.

Marcella was a member of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, including the Altar Rosary Society, Milan Mothers’ Club and volunteered at the Fisher-Titus Gift Shop.

In her spare time, she enjoyed bird watching, puzzles, playing cards, attending her grandchildren’s sporting events and spending time with her family and friends. Marcella is survived by her daughters, Jean (Anthony) Robuck of Sandusky and Nancy Caskey of Milan; son, Richard (Leah) Carsten of Charlotte, NC; grandchildren, Jonathan (Lisa) Caskey of GA, Matthew (Melissa) Caskey of Berlin Heights, Jeremiah Robuck of Sandusky, Daniel (Sarah) Caskey of Milan, Ethan Caskey of FL, Shawn Robuck of Columbus, Ashley Carsten and Holly Carsten both of NC; great-grandchildren, Jaden, Hunter, Junah, Wyatt and Emma; step great-grandchildren, Harper, Kayla, Keegan and Kennedy; sisters, Margaret Sarr and Elizabeth (Robert) Hipp both of Norwalk; brothers, Norman Ott and Robert (Karen) Ott both of Norwalk and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives. In addition to her parents, Marcella is preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Richard C. Carsten in 2013; grandson, Jason A. Robuck; brothers, Ralph Ott and Raymond Ott; brothers-in-law, James Carsten and Richard Sarr; sisters-in-law, Janice Carsten, Patricia Ott, Evelyn Ott and Anna Obermiller and in-laws, Charles and Nellie Carsten.

Friends may call on Friday, April 13, 2018 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory Milan Chapel, 1 Main Street South. , Milan. Prayers will be recited on Saturday, April 14, 2018 in the funeral home at 10:00 am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, 130 Main St., Milan.

Father Gilbert Mascarenhas will officiate. Burial will follow in St. Anthony’s Cemetery, Milan.
