Sebastian Palmucci March 6, 1928 – April 15, 2018 Sebastian Palmucci, 90, residing in Sandusky, passed away Sunday morning, April 15, 2018 at Providence Care Centers. Sebastian was born on March 6, 1928 in the Republic of San Marino to the late Armando and Maria (Sabatinni) Palmucci. Sebastian worked at Lyman Boat Works and had most recently been employed at Sandusky Foundry.

In his spare time, he enjoyed opera, traveling, woodworking and spending time with his family and friends. Sebastian is survived by his daughter, Paula (Ken) Ward of Port Clinton; son, Jeffrey Palmucci of Nashville, TN; grandchildren, Zachary Kenne, Amanda and Dominic Palmucci; sisters, Pinetta Roncuzzi of Varese, Italy, Agatha Duckworth of Cumberland, MD and Augustina Palmucci of the Republic of San Marino; brothers, Angelo (Jane) Palmucci of Sandusky and Salvatore (Rosina) Palmucci the Republic of San Marino and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

In addition to his parents, Sebastian is preceded in death by his wife, Judith Rose (Jessee) Palmucci. Friends may call on Tuesday, April 17, 2018 from 4pm to 7pm at Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1607 E Perkins Ave, Sandusky. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home on Wednesday, April 18, 2018 at 10am.

Deacon Jeff Claar will officiate. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Sandusky. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to contribute to Sebastian’s memory may do so to the Commons of Providence, 5000 Providence Drive, Sandusky, OH 44870 or to Providence Care Center, 2025 Hayes Ave.
