Joyce Evelyn McComas, 88, of Red House, went home to be with the Lord Sunday March 10, 2019 at the Hubbard Hospice House, Charleston. She was born, February 12, 1931 to the late Eva and Lonzo Holstein in Madison, WV. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 59 years, Lou McComas in 2009.

She attended Paradise Bible Church, where her son, Doug, is pastor. Evelyn was saved at the young age of 7 years old. She will be remembered for her deep love and devotion to the Lord and her family.

She is survived by the loves of her life, her children, Doug (Jan) of Red House, Kathy Johnson (Greg) of Luling, LA, Mike (Rene’) of Red House and John (Brenda) of Hampton, Va. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. The family would like to extend a special thank you to her hospice nurse, Susie Casto, all her hospice caregivers and to Marva, TerryAnn, Willie and Brenda for their sacrificial time, love and care.

Funeral service will be held at 7:00pm Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at Chapman Funeral Home, Winfield with her son, Pastor Doug McComas officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. The graveside service will be held at 2:00pm Wednesday at Boone Memorial Park, Madison.
