Julia Mae Zeigler, 89, of Finksburg, died Saturday, January 12, 2019 at Carroll Hospital Born August 15, 1929 in York, Pennsylvania she was the daughter of the late John L. and Julia Margaret Smith Zeigler. Julia was a graduate of Wm. Penn High School in York, Pa.

in 1947. And a graduate of the Maryland General Hospital School of Nursing in 1950. She was employed at Maryland General as a Registered Nurse in the operating room for 10 years; 8 years of those being a supervisor.

She retired… in 1990 from Carroll County General Hospital, where she worked as an Operating Room Supervisor. She was a member of St. Pauls United Church of Christ in Westminster, and enjoyed traveling. She was predeceased by her brother, Donald J. Zeigler and his wife Marilyn; and nephew, John M. Zeigler.

She is survived by several cousins and close friends, Frank and the late Sandy Easterday, LeRoy and Natalie Ensor, and Richard and Lisa Logue. Funeral services will be held at 12 noon on Friday, January 18, 2019 at Pritts Funeral Home and Chapel, 412 Washington Rd. , Westminster with her with pastor, Rev.

Marty Kuchma, officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10:00 to 12:00. Interment will be at Prospect Hill Cemetery in York, Pa.
