June L. Scriber, age 83, of Lake Odessa passed away on Wednesday, May 23, 2018 at the Pennock Campus of Spectrum Health after a brief battle with cancer. June was born on December 23, 1934 in Lansing to Earl Thomas and Alene Mary (Ruhf) Gokey. She will be remembered for the loving care she gave many children over the years.

June leaves behind: children; Kim (Roger) Wilcox and Debra Rose, grandchildren; Dustin (Dawn) Wilcox and Angela (Jim) Frizzell, great grandchildren; Allison and Blake, siblings; Barbara Cutler, Thomas (Bonnie) Gokey and Carol Maurer, along with many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by: her parents and sister Donna Miller. Cremation has taken place according to her wishes and a private memorial will be held at a later date.
