Obituary for Karen J. Hamborsky Karen Jeane Hamborsky, wife, mother, grandmother, and dear friend, passed away peacefully at her home on October 19, 2018 surrounded by her loving family. Karen was born on April 29, 1951 to the late Joseph and Dorothy Hoffer of Yonkers NY. She married Steven Hamborsky of Dobbs Ferry on April 3, 1971 and was an incredible artist and graphic designer for over 38 years.

Making Dobbs Ferry her home, Karen raised two sons and enjoyed having her brothers, sisters and their families living nearby. Karen loved fishing, the Yankees, painting, and her beloved dogs Bambi and Zipper. Karen is survived by her husband Steve, sons Steven and Michael (grandchildren Andrew and Alexander), twin sister Dorothy Wallace, her brothers Alex and Richard Hoffer as well as many beloved nieces and nephews.

Karen was predeceased by her brother Joseph. Friends may call on Monday from 2-4PM & 7-9PM at Edwards-Dowdle Funeral Home, 64 Ashford Ave. , Dobbs Ferry, NY.
